This quote, by MLK Jr., portrays a negative connotation to silence. In his fight for civil rights, Martin Luther King, Jr. is showing that abolitionists will not falter by the rudeness and cowardice of those against rights to all people. Contrarily, those that can help but do not stand up for the rights of all people are the ones that will have the most impact.
